WHAT IS BIMA?
BIMA is a charity that provides a multi-faith dispute resolution service for any conflict where religious belief is relevant to any of the parties. BIMA is committed to meeting the three-dimensional needs of parties in conflict. In high conflict situations, parties are often influenced by their religious and cultural beliefs. They may also feel a strong urge to revert to using their first language which may not be English.
All our members are highly experienced in Facilitated Dialogue, Mediation and Arbitration.
The key to unlocking deeply entrenched disputes is the mediator's capacity to empathise with the parties at their deepest and most personal levels of thinking.
